Effortless beauty. Effortless femininity. Effortless art.
The first time I spoke with Rachel about her portrait session, she requested I capture some updated headshots for her portfolio. Of course, I was happy to oblige – See BLOG post here of that portion of her session!
However, I had hoped to wait and capture her session in my brand new luxury, studio – located in Maple Grove, MN. And at the time of her request, my in-home studio had yet to be completely finalized.
The vintage, antique, faux fireplace with modern sconces, and the board & batten wall feature still needed to be installed. Along with the fireplace & board & batten wall feature, the large, 86″ x 18″ floor-to-ceiling, rolling white backdrop needed to be installed, as well (which was an endeavor in and of itself – but I will save that story for another day.)
Thankfully, Rachel was willing to wait until the studio was fully renovated for her session to be done in the new space, and I am pretty sure you will see why it was totally worth the wait!
Not only did I ask to wait until the studio was done to capture her session, but I also asked her if she would be willing to be a part of something new I planned to launch in my business this year.
So, I sent Rachel over an inspirational mood board with my ideas & vision for the session, and she happily agreed to help me launch – drum roll please. . .
