Love stories will forever be classic. And when you use your favorite park in your city for your engagement session, and also utilize something old to represent your love forever. The two marry so well together – pun intended!
The sunlight was perfectly illuminating the park.
The breeze blew softly in the trees, rustling what was left of the fall leaves.
This particular afternoon was unseasonably warm for Emma & Alec’s November engagement session in Minnesota.
And honestly, the whole setting was nearly the perfect, dreamy location to explore, and adventure together while capturing Emma & Alec’s love story.
Their love story began when Emma & Alec first laid eyes on one another while taking the same physical conditioning class at the U of M.
Alec was immediately smitten with Emma – even though she felt unprepared to meet a possible love interest in her workout gear early that morning! Proof, once again, that you never know where you may meet someone, and you don’t have to be “perfectly” put together to have that spark!
And since that fateful moment in their workout gear, Emma & Alec still enjoy riding their bikes in the city, exploring new restaurants (before the pandemic of course), and cooking at home together. Ultimately, they chose this Minneapolis park for their engagement session because of the memories they share together there.
And that’s not all the sentiment wrapped into their engagement session – Emma’s ring also holds Alec’s grandmother’s diamond as the center stone! What?! I don’t know about you, but I just love when something dearly treasured, like a grandmother’s stone, is passed down to the next generation. It holds so much more than the diamond’s beauty itself! Don’t you think?
Personally, I just love the romantic connotation passing down family heirlooms holds.
And now, Emma & Alec have the opportunity to keep that tradition going on and on through the next generation.
Congratulations on your engagement once again, Emma & Alec!
Always treasure your love and where it all began.
